Prologue
Our memory is like sands in our hand. We thought we were holding them firmly, but actually──There’s nothing we have on our hand. This is why this blog is here. It helps us to remember this precious memory. Especially for me, this precious memory almost has a range of 7 months. At least I have built this blog which might help you to learn my story.
Summary
This blog is writting for Maranatha. To memorize the time I came to study in Maranatha.
As you know English is my second language, so there would be a lot of difficulties for me to connect with you. So to avoid embrass, I chose to speak less. But it is very console to me that most of you would like to talk with me, especially reading this blog. Please read with patience, as I always speak with patience.
Timeline
When I was in China, I dreamt to experience the life of studying here.
So with my bag and blessing from my friends
I worked so hard….

Thankfully, I experienced a lot of things that might seems to be boring to you

Not only I write those things to commomorate, but also to remind you how wonderful life is here.

Experience
Beginning
I graduate from 10th grade in China to 10th grade here. Compare to other Chinese, my English would probably be the worst. So in the bignning I am kind of afraid to talk. Because once I talk with you guys, you might think me as one of the stupidest person you ever met. Although my English sucks. But at least I know staffs in math and science(I have already studied them in China, which is much harder and deeper). So it makes it much easier to me. But because the bad habit I have in Chinese high school, I forgot to turn homework in time in almost all the classes. That’s a little hash. But I got used to it faster than I thought.
Development
Cross country
Gradually I got used to our school life.
To make more friends,
I started up doing sports because this does not require a lot of speaking.
My favorite sport is soccer, all the time.
But soccer season is in the next season.
Then I joined the cross country team.
I knew nothing about cross country before,
when I knew it is about running 3 miles…..
To be honest, I wanted to quit this sport.
But when I considered my teammates, my friends.
I decided to hang on.
Just as how I lost my weight in China by running for that girl(U don’t have to know Hahhhh)
Here I run for us
Not so bad
With our effect we made it all the way to CIF!!!
Thank your encouragement that I made the rookie of the year
Competition part
I was doing coding competition in China,
so I decided to participate in USACO.
But I was so stupid that I mess up the date…..
Ok then.
So I went with math club and got the third place in AMC10…….
I such trash…….
Later I joined the science bowl.
That was my first time doing it
Fun and meaningful
Last but not the least
Soccer
Start in China, I like to play soccer with my friends
Actually, people who play with me gradually become my friends
I don’t have the habit to pass the ball because I think my teammates at that time always lost it
But after a season pratice with u
I started to trust my teammates more
Coach Steve said that to play it simple
And Treyton helped me to realize the value of trust “us”
I still remember the pass to Jay in the last game
I think
My soccer is not that bad actually
Also I think I made many firsts in our team
The first pass
And also the first yellow card
So sorry to coach………
Until now, I still remember a lot of things on the field
And also I am looking forward to play soccer with you again…
Postscript
My trip to American was great after all
I have experienced a lot of things I have never experienced before
I make a lot of new friends
